A couple years ago, I was looking for a trailer. As a biker, I would ask if the trailer would haul two full size dressers. After getting a yes, maybe, kind of and if you are a contortionist etc., the sales people would admit that it would haul two dressers if I removed parts, staggered the bikes and wasn't worried if there was only a half inch of clearance between the bikes. Those trailers were 80 inches wide and the mirrors on our bikes were 40 inches wide. You do the math. The RallyTime™ 2 bike trailer is 99" inches wide. Leaving 19 inches between bikes. The 99 inches is down low where your bags are then tapers as it rises to allow improved visibility for the towing vehicle. This trailer truly will haul two full size dressers and leave 6 to 14 inches between the bikes and the walls, plenty of room to do your tie downs. We also placed in the front of the trailer, a large front hatch with a courtesy lamp for three purposes: 1. After you tie down the front of your bikes, you can comfortably exit through the front. 2. With a 7 foot cargo net, which comes standard, you can put your suitcases, helmets, leathers, ice chests, tool boxes, sleeping bags and any other items you can think of in the front cargo area. When you stop for the evening , everything is available by just lifting the front lockable hatch and grabbing what you need. You don't have to drop the ramp to get to your gear. 3. As a biker, everytime I stop, I can open the hatch and check that the bikes have not shifted without having to drop the ramp. The trailer weighs only 990 pounds, is 12 and a half feet long inside and has an interior width of over 99 inches. The trailer was designed with a width at the mirrors of 90 inches to allow extended fields of vision through the towing vehicles rear view mirrors. This combination makes the RallyTime trailer the widest and lightest trailer of its class in the industry today.
